Femke Wolting

Femke Wolting, together with Bruno Felix, is the founder and managing director of Submarine. Femke has produced among others, Peter Greenaway’s feature Eisenstein in Guanajuato, award-winning documentaries such as the Emmy Award-winning documentary Last Hijack and internationally distributed animation series such as Mattel’s The Wellie Wishers. Together with Bruno Felix and Tommy Pallotta, she founded a satellite company in Los Angeles, SubLA, with the aim to set up international productions between Europe and the US, and to have better to access to the new platforms like Netflix and Amazon. Most recently she produced NOBODY SPEAK: TRIALS OF THE FREE PRESS that premiered at Sundance 2017 and that was acquired as Netflix Original. Currently she is in production of a series for Amazon, ‘Undone’, together with Tommy Pallotta and Dutch director Hisko Hulsing, written by the showrunners of Bojack Horseman (Netflix’ first Original series). Femke leads the development for the series department, she develops and produces television series, such as PONIES, a thriller/drama series financed by amongst others AVROTROS and Studio Canal. Her background in non-fiction has led to the development of a number of unique international series that are inspired by true events.
